Latching Water Level Detector
Our Latching Water Level Indicator is used in sub stations and other underground / unmanned areas to alert personnel of potential danger to the public and / or equipment where flooding has occurred and subsequently subsided.
The Latching Water Level Indicator has an internal coloured float which rises with any flood water and then latches at the highest level to provide an immediate flood warning, which is highly visible from a safe distance. Once the alert has been acknowledged and made safe, the indicator can be mechanically reset by the operator and made ready to alert of any further dangers.
The indicator is constructed from materials suitable for all environments, and is unaffected by full submersion. The bilge flood alarm is ideal for areas which are normally unmanned and visited infrequently.
Optionally a contact closure switch may be fitted at a user set height. This is triggered as the float rises and provides an alarm signal which may be remotely transmitted, advising that a flooding risk has occurred.
